A major problem with unwrapping

Okay, thanks for the help.

I have discovered a problem with unwrapping that did not happen until I installed the latest revision. Each time I unwrap a new part of the model, the image moves to the left and upwards, leaving black borders on the right and bottom of it.

So after a few parts have been unwrapped, if the unwrap was on the left and/or top, it moves off the image.

It was changed in the past release so that it would work properly with NVIDIA and ATI video cards. You may find that you will have better luck unwrapping on to a 256×256 texture (or perhap 512×512). After you have unwrapped, you can always scale the texture up if you need more pixels.

I have Windows 98 SE.

Intel(R) 82810 Graphics Controller

[i:1msauwef]3) The video card driver revision you have?[/i:1msauwef]

4.13.01.3004

[i:1msauwef]4) What size of texture you were creating?[/i:1msauwef]

I was creating a 1024×1024 texture.

If this problem does not occur using other video cards, it may not be worthwhile you attempting to fix it though, as I will soon be upgrading to a GEForce 2. I thank you Richard for you astounding technical support.

Can you tell me:

1) What version of Windows you are running?

2) The video card you have?

3) The video card driver revision you have?

4) What size of texture you were creating?

Richard
