UV Remap or UV map.
Select several points (Ctrl click).
Use the zoom (area in the xy coordinates system).
The multiple selection is lost.

Unfortunately, based on the way the operations are designed, there is nothing I can do about this.
I’ll be re-writing this relatively soon, and will keep this in mind. This will likely be in 3DC 9.0.
I’ll move this to "outsanding issues" so that I keep it in mind.
