3DC825 Runtime error 13 (resolved)

After typing ( by accident) two minus signs in the X-orientation field in the properties panel, there is a Runtime error 13.
I had that two times now, while animating connecting rods of a steam loco.

Hi Gerritt,

You can animate the rods on a steam locomotive with 3DC825 ??? Are you using Paul’s plug-in for the main rods ???

Scott

Hi Scott,

No, I am doing it by hand.
A lot of work, I know, but it works, if I not make any typos. <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>

Hi Gerrit,

Good luck – I still have to animate many of my rods by hand too – it’s just I like having the base movement defined by the rod animator plug-in… It makes a nice solid base to start from so all the extra rods are just that much easier… I’ll wait until Paul has some time to fix it… Please feel free to post some screenshots – there are not very many of us that do steam locomotives and it’s nice to compare notes…

I thought the rods plugin was fixed. Is this not correct?

I was not using the rods plugin, but I was animating by hand.

Sorry, I understood that. I was just wondering if there was a reason the rod animator wasn’t usable. I thought problems with it had been corrected.

I have this fixed for the next release.
