Here are a few things I would like to see in 3DC 7
extrude along a line – for making things like chains.
a ‘look at’ function for spotlights so they can be lined up on objects easily
hotkeys to change screen views, left, right, top etc
hide toolbox or floating toolbox to free up more modeling space
alignment tool – click one object then next one clicked is lined up horizontaly, vertically or both as required.
more primitives – hollow tube, disc, rectangle
infinite plain – for floors, skies etc
Also, whats the best way to see the results of raytracing in POVray? We get the message to say rendering complete but I’m sure there is an easy way to view the image?
